What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit, which can make it easier to visit again and make the site more useful to you. This policy explains exactly which cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies strictly for the purposes of security, session integrity, and basic functionality. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics.

Cookies We Set

Third-Party Services

We embed Cloudflare Turnstile on our login and contact forms to distinguish humans from bots without compromising your privacy. Turnstile may set its own cookies or use browser storage for challenge validation. These are controlled by Cloudflare and subject to their Privacy Policy. We use Turnstile's privacy-preserving mode and never receive individually identifying data from Cloudflare.

We also load Google Fonts (Inter typeface) from Google's CDN. This request may reveal your IP address to Google. You can block it by disabling third-party content in your browser without affecting site functionality, since we define system-font fallbacks.

Your Choices & Controls

  • Cookie Consent Banner — When you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept all cookies or restrict to necessary-only cookies. You can change your preference at any time by clearing the pdc_consent cookie and refreshing the page.
  • Browser Settings — Every major browser lets you view, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking session cookies will prevent you from logging in to the Client Portal.
  • Incognito / Private Mode — All cookies are discarded when you close a private window.

Session Security

Our session cookie is configured with the following security attributes to protect your account:

  • HttpOnly — the cookie cannot be read by JavaScript, protecting against XSS theft.
  • Secure — transmitted only over HTTPS, preventing interception on the network.
  • SameSite=Strict — the cookie is not sent on cross-site requests, preventing CSRF attacks.
  • Sessions automatically expire after 20 minutes of inactivity and are invalidated immediately on logout.

Data Retention

Session data is stored server-side and purged on logout or after the idle timeout. Rate-limit tracking files stored in the server's temporary directory are automatically cleaned after their window expires (20 minutes for contact forms, 15 minutes for login lockouts, 10 minutes for IP bans). We do not retain cookie data beyond the durations listed in the table above.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change our technology stack or add new features. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
